Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. The only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra began her professional career in the show business from a young age. By the time she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured the leading roles in numerous television dramas. The audience was impressed by her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring the divas. Alexandra's career has seen her work on a number of significant national and international productions. Some of these include the British biographical film Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon. Her other roles include being an official jury member for two festivals: the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
